In the past we used a free service called "eGroups", that was later bought out by Yahoo groups. Now we have our own "eGroup" server , and our emails won't be required to have a bunch of advertising on them. And they won't be archived by strangers. Yay! If you were a member of the Roughwheelers eGroup or yahoo-group on 4/29/02, your account has been automatically transferred to the new system. You don't have to do anything. From now on, all messages intended for Everybody at RoughWheelers.com should be addressed to Everybody@RoughWheelers.com. Simple, huh? Please update your email address books.
What is a List Server or an eGroup?
A program that distributes email to a group of people that are all subscribers to the same list.
How does this work?
Somebody sends an email message to the list address. Everybody@Roughwheelers.com
The List Server picks up the message from the list address and then sends it to the members of the list. Our list is usually low traffic, and we will never sell your email address to anyone. Ever.
In summary, everything sent (by a subscribed member) to "everybody@roughwheelers.com" will get sent to all members of the list. This is especially good for announcements, and group discussions of things that are relevant to our club.

Q: So, really, what's the mailing list for?
A: Oh, mostly for RoughWheeler members announcements, fun things to do, stupid chatter, jokes, meeting reminders, and to help keep us together as a club. We're hoping that if you *know about* what's going on, that you'll participate and have a good time.
Q: Will I get a bunch of junk mail?
A: Well, yeah. But only from your friends in the club!!! People can say whatever, and we don't even try to control it. We do promise not to sell your contact info. Only RW members can send email to the list. Only RW members can retrieve the members list.
Q: Can anybody sign up & read our emails?
A: No! This mailing list is for RoughWheelers IV Club members only. The only possible exceptions are RW members in good standing that have moved away and want to stay in touch with us.
Q: Where is the searchable archive of all our past emails?
A: We don't do that. Considering the #@*% we chat about sometimes, we're all better off not having a public archive of emails.
