It's surprising and upsetting to hear this news.
Though we had only met Lion that one weekend during the Peach Cobbler run,
there is no doubt that meeting him was one of the highlights of the trip.
In particular he made Gisele laugh a number of times and the pictures he
took of her were wonderful. It was also fun to find out that he was from
the Chicago area as that is my hometown as well. I had communicated with
him via email and was expecting that we would see each other again during a
future offroad sojourn. It's hard to believe what has happened as he seemed
so full of life and vitality that weekend. Gisele and I will have Lion in
our prayers.
