Windows users can upload photos to the Rough Wheelers photo gallery really easily.

The following assumes you already have "Registered" to make an account for yourself at the Roughwheelers website. Accounts are free for Roughwheelers members & friends only.

If you haven't made an account for yourself already here's how;
Go to the RW photo Gallery.
http://www.roughwheelers.com/pix/main.php
and click on "Register" at the top right corner.

For UserName & FullName please put your Handle or nickname. We do NOT need your real name! (We already know who you are).
Choose a good password, enter your email, and you're all set.

To upload photos from Windows:

There are several ways t o upload your photos to this website, here is one of the easiest.

Open your Web Browser (Explorer or Firefox) and go to the Gallery:
http://www.roughwheelers.com/pix/main.php
and click into YOUR album.

On the left sidebar, click "Add Items" then click the tab for "Windows Publishing Wizard" and click the link to download "Install_Registry.reg" for your flavor of Windows. Follow the easy directions there, or just click ok when it asks. You only need to do that part ONCE.

START with a folder of photos to upload. You can have this on your windows desktop, or anywhere. Open the folder, and on the left sidebar, click "Publish this folder to the web" and follow along.

Choose which album to add these photos to, or push the button to "Make a new album". If you are making a new album, you may select where you want the new album to be inside of. It can be vry helpful to put albums inside of other albums to organize.

Choose Yes, and "Large" size 1024 to save time uplading. The server is set to resize to no bigger than 1024 x 1024 anyway, so no good reason to upload larger than that... Altough it won't hurt anything either.

Ok, that's it! Check your new web photo gallery & see how it looks!

To share with friends, just tell them the URL (substitute your own
username, of course!). That's all they need to know:

Hope this helps,
